C&A bagged a record breaking order of Rs. 741 Lacs from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPN) for LnTEMS™ (Energy Management System). This order has been awarded by RVPN for its Inter Utility and Inter Company Metering application.

RVPN is the Transmission company of the Rajasthan State Electricity board which owns and operates all the 400kV, 220 kV, 132 kV and 66kV electricity lines and system in the State of Rajasthan.

The job involves Design, engineering, supply, erection of commissioning and operation and maintenance of Metering Scheme of RVPN for Inter Utility and Inter Company Metering which consists of almost 300 stations using a combination of 60 VSAT Modems & PSTN Modems for Communication network covering the entire state of Rajasthan.

The System once commissioned, will provide RVPN online information of the Energy Flow in the network and help them to increase profit under the ABT Tariff Regime and reduce losses by having accurate information of the Energy Flow/ Audit of the feeders at the various 220kv & 132kv Substations. The first of its kind for any Utility in India, this will help RVPN to become a progressive utilitity using the latest IT technolgy for the Transmission company benefits.
